•  Annual Back to School Culture Fest is September 16, 2023 from 11:30am to 6:30pm at Knob Hill Urban Arts District, 2331 East Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO. 80903.  We are crossing my fingers for at least 500 to 1000 attendees for this event.  So, share, share, share, and invite, invite, invite on the FB event page.

• Our two guest speakers this year will be Mayor Mobolade and Governor Jared Polis (confirmation for Jared should come in about two weeks)
• Some of the amazing nonprofits tabling this year are Inside Out Youth Services, CC Mobilie Arts, Theatreworks, Ent Center for the Arts at UCCS, Blackpackers, Theatre Across Borders, Springs Community Acupuncture, and Eco Village.
• Some of the amazing vendors and food trucks vending this year are The Meltdown, Big Max Snowballs, Creole Roots Catering, Conrad's Flava Fusion, Momoxoart, Black Girl Salsa, Runaway Bakeshop, Jibwa Studios, Caraluna Design, The Hause Collective, Groundwork Atelier, and Soluna Mind & Body.
• We will have two out of town performers, hip hop sensation duo, Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise (also our musical headliners), and the Alkebulan Arts Institute of Mississippi, featuring Eddie Dorman. and Shawn Lawrence, who will conduct a Djembe drumming workshop with an in depth lesson on its African history and significance.  Some of our awesome local performers will include, My Name is Harriet, Jeanne Robbins, Alexandre Valentino Skye, :Leia Trillz Patrice, Tejas Hemsell, and DJ ChloeBeeBlessed.
• This year in the Kids' Corner, our special guest will be Elevation Wheel Company doing a 3D printing demo and workshop, they are also making free toys for the kiddos to take home after the workshop.  We will have face painting with Irishimo Graves; a chalk festival with Kai Gaynor; petting zoo courtesy of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's ZOOMobile program; Katy Williams puppetry; an outdoor workshop by Blackpackers, free haircuts, courtesy of Sunday Barber Co.; and a conflict resolution workshop with Dr. Juliana Deans.
